DETROIT Fox 2 – Detroit lawmakers, both past and present, leveled criticisms against maps approved by Michigan’s redistricting commission on Monday while announcing a lawsuit alleging they dilute minority voting power in the city.
But this is in complete opposition, and contradicts what the New York Times reported in December!

A citizen ballot initiative took redistricting out of the hands of partisan legislators. The result: competitive political districts — and an example of how to push back against hyperpartisanship.
So, why the change of heart, from Detroit Lawmakers and Mainstream Media all of a sudden? I will tell you! DEMOCRATS! No matter what they are given, they will never be happy! They will always seek to divide, using Race, Sex, Religion as tools of the trade!
So, Detroit lawmakers insist, that only BLACK leadership will be accepted in Detroit? Let’s look at the stats!
The DETROIT census reported 70.1% White, 22.8% African-American, 0.3% Native American, 3.3% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 1.2% from other races, and 2.2% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 6.2% of the population.

So, with Detroit being 70% white, why are the Democrats pushing for “black leadership?”
Now let’s consider the HUMAN RACE, instead of the color of ones skin. Does the Human Race matter anymore? Instead of focusing on things to divide society (Which the Democrats do), Shouldn’t we focus on things that will unite?
We are all HUMAN BEINGS regardless of Age, Sex, Political Views, Wealth. If we focus on our likeness, instead of our differences, then we can truly become united as a society.
